20 Aug 2006 - New album released and new website launched!

Today 'The Hours that Remain', Mercenary's fourth full-length album, hits the stores! Check out the featured ecard with four new songs and DVD preview and read the latest reviews before you go get the album!

As the bright ones will have noticed by now, the website has also been completely redesigned based on the artwork of the new album, and many new features have been added. A new forum has been uploaded with dozens of new features, and the media section now features an extensive gallery, where users can comment and rate the pictures, upload their own pics and more. All for your increased enjoyment. Neat.

Finally, big hearty thank-you's go out to all who showed up Saturday and made the releaseparty in Aalborg a very enjoyable night - especially all the diehard metalheads who came from out of town for this evening of beer and metal!

The new CD comes in 2 different versions;
Regular version - As standard CD with 10 new tracks.
Limited version - the regular version CD + a bonus DVD, featuring comprehensive "The Hours that Remain" making of... - follow Mercenary behind the scenes in the creation of the new CD - Interview, Live concert from Dynamo and more...
All in all over 120 minutes of DVD - Region free - NTSC (PAL) compatible

Would you like to design one of the next Mercenary shirts?

Mercenary has decided that one of the new shirts in our merchandise collection has to come from one of you metal guys or gals out there.

The shirt is meant to be one of the shirts to follow the release of our new album, "The Hours that Remain", and it will be sold from the website and at our concerts in the future.

Since it is an open contest, there are no real guide lines, other than it has to show, somehow, that it's a Mercenary shirt.
Whether you use our current logo, a new logo? - or other signs or stuff you come up with, is completely up to you.

So turn up "Soul Decision" and start creating the next Mercenary shirt.

Variations of our logo can be found in the "PRESS" section.

BUT remember we're also looking for something new and fresh to spice up the merchandise stand so feel free to invent the new shit.

To submit your design or idea please follow these instructions:

1: Send to: mercenary.merch@gmail.com
REMEMBER: name, age, country and e-mail adress

2: please don't send the full layout file (PSD, or other layered) Send a .jpg in about 800-1000 pixels in width and we'll ask for the complete layout if we choose your design.

3: It's OK to send more than one design, however, if it's a matter of details you can work on them if we like the basic idea.

16 Jul 2006 - First DK gig & Release Party

The time has come to finally start a small trip around Denmark.
The first "The Hours that Remains" concert will be held in Copenhagen on Friday, September 29th at "The Rock". Mercenary is looking forward to getting back on the road after an intense 3/4 of a year behind dark rehearsal walls.

Other news:
The release party for "The Hours that Remain" will be held on Saturday, August 19th at 20.00 o'clock. The place will be "Rock Nielsen" in Aalborgs "Jomfru Ané Gade", where the "Everblack" release party was held. All are invited to come and have a beer and bang to the new album. - More details later.
