19 Oct 2006 - Storage sale!

To celebrate that a bunch of new cool Mercenary merchandise is underway
and will be available shortly (including some cool stuff based on the winning
design from the contest launched in august), there's a huge reduction in
prices of almost all the wares of the webshop. To get the sale going there's a
free lanyard to the next 10 orders we receive, and there will be a free
beanie to everyone who orders for at least 50 E (excl. postage/regional
taxes) no later than October the 30th. (We r-e-a-l-l-y need to clear our tiny
storage room to make space for the all new stuff...). Scavenge the shop for
some old goodies while they last...

11 Oct 2006 - New merchandise/Shirt design contest over

Hello guys and gals.
Finally a good huge update on Mercenary.dk

We've recieved the first two items in the new merchandise departement.
Beanies and lanyards. Check out the merchandise page for details and pictures.

Further more we've managed to get our hands on 7 copies of the original Everblack LP release.
They will be on sale tomorrow(October 12th - 12pm).
The buyers will get their copy signed by the band if they want to.

Finally, we've selected a winner of the shirt contest !
The design along with the shirt will be up shortly.
Further details on the shirt type and look is a secret for now, but
it will be an item we've not carried before.
The shirt will be sold on the upcoming tour with "The Haunted" and
here on Mercenary.dk

28 Sep 2006 - Mercenary at Danish Metal Awards 2006

Time has come for Danish Metal Awards 2006.
The time and place is:

November 18th
Amagerbio
Øresundsvej 6, 2300 København S
Doors open at 19.00 hours

Mercenary will be performing live at the event along with
In Flames, Illdisposed and The Psyke Project.

Mercenary has been nominated in the following categories:

Best Metal Album
Best Metal Track (Redefine Me)
Best Metal Production
Best Metal Artwork

The Band states:

"...On behalf of the band, it's a real pleasure to announce that we'll be
performing live at the Danish Metal Awards show in November.
Moreover, we're proud to be nominated in no less than four categories this year.
Having toured all over Europe the last couple of years and having recently
visited the States for the second time, it still means a hell of lot to be
performing on home turf for an event like this - so be there and raise those horns.
- Danish Metal will conquer!..."

For the first time in the bands history, Mercenary has entered the official Danish album top 100
at chart position 67 with "The Hours that Remain" - Limited Edition.
This position was reached in the first week after releasing the album.

Mercenary would like to thank all who has bought the album and made this possible.

- Note that both "The Hours that Remain" & "11 dreams" has been made avaliable

31 Aug 2006 - Mikkel becomes a father...

Some of the mercenary genes have been passed on to future generations.

As of Thursday - August 31st at 10.20 am, Mikkel became the father of a little girl.
Everything went well and after a tough couple of days the much anticipated firesoul arrived.

Congrats from the band!
(if anyone should have missed it, this event also made Morten an uncle)
